Interested in a career in the health professions? We are health specialists dedicated to supporting Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students and alumni with getting accepted into graduate health profession programs. We help you to navigate the prerequisite course requirements as well as standardized test preparation. We'll assist you with gaining exposure to the health professions through shadowing opportunities, volunteer positions and patient care jobs. And provide dedicated support for both students and alumni in the graduate application process.

May-term SigX internships
There are a variety of internship opportunities for the May-term SigX for pre-health you to gain experience in your area of interest.
Mayo Caring Hands Volunteer program
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ has an exclusive partnership with the Mayo Clinic in Mankato to offer pre-health students the opportunity to serve as a Caring Hands volunteer to provide a non-therapeutic, light, gentle and slow hand massage to patients, caregivers and/or family members.
River's Edge Hospital and Clinic
Pre-physical therapy and pre-occupational therapy students can volunteer at River’s Edge Hospital and Clinic in Saint Peter setting up equipment and assisting patients with exercise plan or working with the patients with Parkinson's Disease who are a part of their kickboxing program. Talk with your Health Specialist to learn more.
Hospice Ecumen Companion Volunteer
You will be part of a team offering comfort, support, friendship and presence to patients and their families as they journey through end life. Companions can also offer caregiver respite or practical help around the home.
Health-Affiliated Student Clubs
