We take care of our beautiful, clean campus physical environment. This includes all residential, academic, athletic, and administrative buildings and facilities as well as the all campus outdoor spaces. The 1.7-million-square feet of building space on 350 acres is the specialty of our trained and dedicated staff.

Event Support

Please submit your requests for tables, chairs, and staging via the room reservation form when you make request a space for your event.

The event support team manages event set-up requests for tables, chairs, and staging. If you need to made a change to your request, contact the Facilities Office at least 2 weeks before your event with your request.Ìý

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ name tags can take 14-21 business days during busy seasons to get created. 
Facilities does not make name tags. Thus, time is needed to send the information to the off-campus vendor.

Car and Van Requests

Find information about scheduling use of a college vehicle and picking up keys from the Motor Pool

The transportation staff maintains the College's fleet of Motor Pool vehicles as well as the Facilities and Campus Safety vehicles. They also provide repair work and preventive maintenance to the grounds equipment.

Custodial and Support Services

 

The custodial teams work diligently to care for the square feet 1,847,356 of residence halls, academic and administrative buildings across our campus. 

 

Furniture

 

Requests for furniture and furnishings must be submitted to Facilities. Contracts and agreements with various vendors provide the best cost savings for quality products. Departments purchasing items from retail/on-line stores without Facilities approval will be responsible for all costs associated with those items including purchase, delivery, assembly, and repair.
 

Moving Furniture or Equipment
 

We are also charged with the movement of materials throughout campus and the arrangement of staging, tables, chairs and other items as needed for special events and in support of activities on our Campus.
 

Grounds

 

The Grounds team is responsible for maintaining the 360-plus beautifully landscaped acres of College grounds, including the Arboretum, outside athletic facilities, and the miles of sidewalks and roads and parking lots. Our team work diligently to mow, plant, weed, mulch, water and everything else needed to keep the grounds beautiful. The winter months are spent shoveling, plowing, and sanding.
 

Electrical Services

 

The electrical services team is responsible for maintaining the electrical and lighting systems of the College. They support both the internal and the external needs of the buildings, outdoor facilities, walkways and street lighting.
 

Plumbing Services
 

The plumbing services team is responsible for maintaining the College water, sanitary sewer, storm water, and roofing systems of the buildings and outdoor spaces.
 

Carpenter Services
 

The carpenter services team is responsible for maintaining the physical structures and furnishings within the buildings and outdoor spaces. 

 

Paint Services

 

The paint services team is responsible for maintaining the interiors of the buildings and outdoor spaces.
 

Keys and Locks Services
 

The locks services team is responsible for maintaining the College's electronic access, lock systems and keys. They build the cores that go into the locks and cuts the keys used by faculty, staff and students for access across campus.
 

Utilities Services

 

Utility Services is responsible for maintaining the College's steam generation plant, chilled water units and the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
