We hope you have a good visit to the campus of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Here is information to help you become more familiar with the campus.
Parking on Campus
Visitor parking lots are indicated with a Visitor Parking sign and are located:
- Northeast side of the Campus Center Building
- At the Swanson Tennis Center
- Next to the Arboretum/Interpretive Center
- Next to the Nobel Hall of Science/Anderson Theatre
No overnight parking allowed in these lots, unless you request a special permit from Campus Safety.
September - April
During the school year (September-April)
- Monday-Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. visitors should park in one of the Visitor Parking areas (designated by Visitor signs)
- From 5 p.m.-2 a.m., visitors may park in any parking lot.

May - August
In the summer months of May, June, July and August, visitors may park in any parking lot on campus without restriction (including overnight) until August 31.
Special Parking Enforcement
All the parking spaces listed below are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Parking spaces reserved by special signs -- i.e., 30-minute Parking, Residential Life, Vendor/Maintenance Parking.
- Handicap spot and is not displaying a Minnesota Handicap license plate or a Minnesota Temporary permit.
- Three Flags Circle as it is a no parking zone at all times, no exceptions. You may park along the yellow curb by the Three Flags Circle, with hazards on, up to 15 minutes.
- Curbs that are painted red are designated fire lanes.
During the academic year, visitors wishing to park past 2 a.m. or overnight must be registered with Campus Safety and display a valid Visitor Parking Permit. Visitors must be staying overnight on campus with their host to park a vehicle - parking is not provided for storage or parking for a vehicle owner who will not be actively on campus.
Temporary visitor permits are free and can be obtained by coming to Campus Safety (24-hours a day) for the visitor and host to provide contact and vehicle information. Visitors must show a valid driver's license and register their vehicle in person in the Campus Safety office with their social host. These temporary visitor permits must hang and display on the inside rear view mirror with vehicle information facing the front.

Most large events take place after 5 p.m. Monday-Friday or on Saturday and Sunday. During these times all parking lots are open to visitors to park.
During large events, parking lots adjacent to event sites will fill up quickly. Please drive to other, more remote lots to find an open space.
Recreational Vehicles may not be parked on campus overnight. Please contact the Department of Campus Safety to coordinate short-term parking. Please contact the Saint Peter Police Department at (507) 931-1550 for information about off-campus .
Wheelchair/Accessible Seating
Accessible seating is available at all events. It is helpful to notify the event planners at least one week in advance about your need for accessible seating.
Dietary Restrictions
The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Dining Service is able to accommodate most dietary restrictions if given advance notice. Please inform the event planner of your dietary needs at least one week in advance.
Large print copy of slide deck or program
Please contact the event planner one week in advance if you need a large print copy of program materials.
Gender neutral and accessible bathrooms

Lactation rooms
- There is a lactation room in the Nobel Hall of Science (room 1501).
- A private sitting space with a sink in the Jackson Campus Center, on the second floor outside the Presidents Dining Room connected to the restrooms.
- Private changing rooms in the Lund Center accessed by talking to the staff at the Lund Center Information Desk.
Foot washing station
The Bonnier Multifaith Center in Anderson Hall is a open daily as a location for prayer and meditation, including having a foot washing station.
Prayer locations
Christ Chapel and the Bonnier Multifaith Center are open daily as a location for prayer.
Service animals
Service animals are permitted to accompany their handler into any public space on campus.
Listening device/sign language interpreter
Please notify the event planner at least three weeks in advance if you need a listening device or sign language interpreter.
Campus Safety medical escort
The Campus Safety Officer provides 24-hour medical escorts. Call Campus Safety at (507) 933-8888 to request assistance.
