Student parking permit
- A parking sticker for my automobile that I'm parking on campus for this year
- A replacement for a parking sticker I've already purchased
- All students who wish to park on campus must register their motor vehicle and display a current parking permit.
- Student parking permit costs are found here.
- End of spring semester reduced fees may apply.
- Urgent permit requests should be made directly with Campus Safety.
- All permit holders are responsible for their registered vehicle. It is their responsibility to know and obey all parking and traffic rules and regulations.
- Students may only register one vehicle.
- Parking permits (decals) are color coded by lot:
- Silver: Student parking
- Blue: First-year student parking
- Purple Permits: Reduced Price Lot - Only 100 permit stickers are available for this lot, Drenttel Golf Lot (W), on a first come first serve basis to students.
- A vehicle is not registered until the appropriate decal is properly displayed on the right rear window of the vehicle.
- Pick up your physical parking decal at the Campus Safety office upon registration.
- A vehicle is not registered until the appropriate sticker is displayed on the right rear window of the vehicle.
Employee parking permit
Request an employee parking permit to park in the designated employee parking spaces.
Employee parking permits must be renewed every 4 years.
Pick up your permit at the Campus Safety office anytime after you register.
A vehicle is not registered until the appropriate decal is properly displayed on the right rear window of the vehicle.
If you need to register more than one vehicle, simply complete an additional "Permanent" registration for each remaining vehicle.
Temporary parking permit
Request a hanging tag for an automobile a student or employee will temporarily park on campus.
I have a parking sticker, but will be using another vehicle
- Students and employees with a parking sticker can get a temporary parking when using an alternate vehicle on a short-term basis (up to 2 weeks).
- There is no charge for a temporary parking permit for students with a paid parking sticker.
- All permit holders are responsible for their registered vehicle. It is their responsibility to know and obey all parking and traffic rules and regulations.
- Parking permits (decals) are color coded by lot:
- Silver, Blue, Purple: Student Parking
- Gold: Employee Parking
I do not have a parking sticker
- Students who do not have a current Silver, Blue, Purple (Student) parking sticker can purchase a temporary parking pass for $5/weekday. This pass enables the registrant to park in silver permit spaces during the posted parking hours while a valid parking permit is properly displayed. Please review the parking information and map before proceeding.
- Note: Gold permit parking is No Parking 2 a.m.-7 a.m., as are all Silver permit spaces in the Beck/Stadium parking lot.
- Review signs and make sure your permit is properly displayed prior to parking to avoid citation.
- Verify your name and permit number with the dispatcher who will complete your registration and give you your parking permit.
- Display the hanging temporary permit hanging from your rear-view mirror.
- Valid only through date filled in on permit by dispatcher.
- A vehicle is not registered until the appropriate sticker or permit is displayed correctly on the vehicle.
- Temporary permits have a 2 week time limit.
- Contact the Campus Safety office Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. to discuss special circumstances.
Guest parking permit
Request a hanging tag for a campus guest's automobile to park on campus.
- Visitors wishing to park past 2 a.m. or overnight must be registered with Campus Safety, display a valid Guest Parking Permit, and park in Visitor parking spaces only.
- Parking in the Norelius Visitor Lot overnight is restricted to designated Overnight parking spaces as marked by a sign.
- Visitors must show a valid driver's license and register their vehicle in person in the Campus Safety office with their Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ host.
- Visitor spaces are closed to students and employees 24 hours a day. Guest parking permits are for visitors to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ only. A Visitor parking pass used by a Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ student will result in an 'Improper Use of Permit citation' for both the person parking the vehicle and the person registering as host.
- Please review parking maps to find designated Visitor parking to avoid citation.
Any vehicle parked after 2 a.m. in Visitor parking must display a valid visitor permit. Guests in the Norelius Visitor Lot must display a valid visitor permit and be parked in the designated overnight visitor parking spaces (Northeast end of lot, closest to the Guest Houses).
- Verify your name and driver's license information with the dispatcher who will complete your registration and give you a parking permit.
- A vehicle is not registered until the permit is displayed correctly on the vehicle.
- Please hang your guest permit from the rear-view mirror of your vehicle.
- Permit is valid for overnight parking in designated visitor parking ONLY.
Bicycle Registration
All students, faculty, and staff who have a bicycle on campus should get a free bike permit.

All students, faculty, and staff who have a bicycle on campus must register upon arrival at the College. Registration of bicycles is accomplished in person at the Campus Safety Office or you can also register online.
There is no fee for registering a bicycle. Please read the bicycle rules and regulations.
You will receive a free Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Bicycle identification sticker that is to be placed on your bicycle. Your registration is valid as long as you are at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, you do not need to re-register if you still have a sticker displayed on your bicycle. If your bicycle changes owners, or if your registration sticker is lost or damaged, please notify Campus Safety. Contact Campus Safety immediately at 507-933-8888 if your bicycle is stolen to file a theft report with Campus Safety and the Saint Peter Police Department.
