Gustie Entrepreneur Cup
This annual pitch competition is open to all Â鶹ÊÓƵ students eager to launch startup ventures. Participants work with faculty, coaches, and alumni mentors to develop feasible, scalable, and sustainable business models. The Gustie Cup features two categories: the Scalable Category for broad market innovations, and the Sustainable Category for community-focused or livelihood-generating ideas. Winning teams can secure up to $5,000, and the winner of the Scalable Category automatically advances to the Minnesota Cup semi-finals.
Student-Led Extracurricular Activities
Beyond the classroom, students' innovation journey thrives with GIECO (Â鶹ÊÓƵ Innovation + Entrepreneurship Club and Opportunities). This dynamic student-led club provides a vibrant space for aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and transform ideas into reality. GIECO members organize engaging events, bring in panels of industry guest speakers, help manage the annual Gustie Cup competition, and coordinate valuable off-campus experiences.
