Progress is our Purpose
Our long-standing commitment is not just about understanding differences but about embracing and celebrating each person’s uniqueness. We believe that preparing students for lives of leadership and service is fully realized through a campus culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive. Therefore, our work is essential to Â鶹ÊÓƵ. From Board of Trustees leadership to presidential task forces to the individual actions everyone takes each day—inclusion and belonging is in every facet of Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
Campus Partners
Working Together, Every Way and Everywhere.
Our ecosystem of support is an interconnected and interacting network so all Gusties feel a sense of belonging and have the opportunity to thrive. Here are a few of the key pieces.
For First-Generation College Students
First in your family to attend college? Resources to help you succeed, including support from faculty and staff who were also first-gen college students.
Multicultural Learning
Students at Â鶹ÊÓƵ speak at least 40 languages, including Spanish, Hmong, Amharic, French, and Swedish. We help students make the most of their unique multilingual backgrounds and help Gusties travel around the world to be immersed in another culture.
For Accessibility Needs
Many resources support students, faculty, and staff with short- or long-term accessibility needs.
For Those Who Seek CounselingÂ
Our Counseling Center provides workshops, support groups, individual appointments in support of students of all identities.
Spiritual Guidance
Specializing in the spiritual, but there to support you as a whole person: spiritual, physical, intellectual, relational, and emotional. Open to all spiritual and religious backgrounds and identities.
All Means All
The Center for Inclusive Excellence is a welcoming and supportive place that accepts and appreciates individuals from all walks of life serving as a hub of events, resources, and relationships.
