Organization for Latin American Students (OLAS)

Celebrate Latin American heritage.

We are a group that supports students from Latin American backgrounds and helps the whole campus learn about the many cultures, traditions, and issues of Latin America. We help students feel proud of their heritage and connect different cultural communities.

Activities & Events

 

We plan cultural celebrations, educational programs, and events that show the richness and diversity of Latin American cultures. We hold Heritage Month celebrations, festivals, workshops about Latin American history and current topics, traditional food events, and social gatherings that bring together students from Latin America and friends from across campus.

 

Meetings & Time Commitment

 

We have regular meetings to plan events, talk about community topics, and organize educational programs. Members help with both planning and attending events, and can join as much or as little as they want.

 

Membership & How to Join

 

We welcome any student interested in Latin American cultures, whether they come from Latin American backgrounds or just want to learn and support these communities. We invite students from all backgrounds to join and celebrate diversity together.
