Activities & Events
We focus on four main activities: building homes, fundraising, advocating for affordable housing, and educating others. Each spring and fall break, we organize trips to different places to help build houses with future homeowners. Our special “Act! Speak! Build!” Week raises awareness about housing issues. We also volunteer locally with Habitat for Humanity of South Central Minnesota and learn about housing justice throughout the year.
Meetings & Time Commitment
The Executive Board meets weekly during the school year to plan trips, events, and projects. If you’re a general volunteer, you can join in as much or as little as you like.
Membership & How to Join
Any student who supports affordable housing is welcome to join. Volunteers can take part in events whenever they want with no required hours. To be on the Executive Board, you need some experience and a commitment to attend weekly meetings and help organize activities.
