Sunday Worshiping Community
Sundays: 4 p.m. in Christ Chapel
Sunday evening worship is a contemplative place to bring all of yourself and experience God in community. This service often combines ancient and modern Christian practices in a relaxed setting. Sing together, pray, hear a message, and feel the presence of Christ through Holy Communion. Students welcome you to eat dinner with them after the service.

Chapel Break

A brief service of readings, messages, music and prayer. In addition to hearing sermons from the chaplains, there are also staff, faculty, students, and special guests offering devotionals, messages, and words of hope.
Mindfulness MeditationÂ
Thursdays: 11:30 - 11:50 a.m. in the Bonnier Multifaith Center in Anderson Hall
Meditation calms our bodies and minds and cultivates compassion for ourselves and others. On Thursdays, members of the counseling center staff will lead the community in loving kindness and mindfulness meditation practices. No prior experience with meditation is required to participate. Student Organizations
Cru is in the mission of launching spiritual movements by winning, building, and sending Christ-centered multiplying disciples throughout the campus, community and the world.
Our mission is to invite college women into a Christ-centered community that fosters vulnerability and transforms stories. Delight seeks to establish a college women’s community that grows together, serves together, learns together, and does life together while chasing the heart of God. Delight is intentional about learning from one another through stories and experiences while potentially discovering or continuing to grow in relationships with Christ.
The mission of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes is to touch millions of lives... one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes in all levels of competition to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ. Our campus chapter meets for Monday Motivator, a time for learning and fellowship each week.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Youth Outreach is committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and providing opportunities for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students to serve God by participating in off-campus Christian Youth Ministry. Outreach teams travel throughout the area, working in cooperation with churches or youth groups, to present youth events such as lock-ins, special youth evenings, leadership sessions, Sunday services, or other events that churches request. Bookings include worship, songs, games, Bible study, discussion groups, skits/drama/clowning, and just about anything else teams creatively dream up. If you love God, spending time with kids (elementary through high school), and having a ton of fun, then GYO might be for you!
The Newman Center is a group of students dedicated to building a deeper understanding of the Roman Catholic faith. Activities include fellowship events, campus-wide prayer services and masses, car pools to mass at the Church of St. Peter, and work with the St. Peter Catholic youth group. The Newman Center is a place to pray, talk, read, and find information on Catholicism, religious issues, and group events. Rosary Prayer takes place on Mondays from 10-10:20am in the Multifaith Center. Rides to Mass at the Church of St. Peter leave from Three Flags at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays.
Prepare Ministries is an interdenominational Christian campus ministry called to build this new generation of believers to prepare the way for the coming of the Lord. We are committed to courageously and compassionately building foundations of truth by facilitating life-on-life mentoring relationships, regularly sponsoring global mission trips and holding campus meetings that incorporate worship, Bible study, teaching, prayer, ministry and fellowship.
Proclaim is a Christian worship community that meeting on Tuesday evenings that is committed to loving others and encouraging people to grow in their faith. All are welcome.
United brings together the leaders of all the Christian organizations on campus to foster Christian unity on campus. Its signature ministries include Vespers and United in Christ Week.
Spiritual Support
Through one-on-one conversations, the Chaplains support students from all backgrounds. Open to a range of conversations from fun to serious, about immediate concerns or issue of purpose and meaning. From grief support to spirituality and faith formation.
For Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students wanting to explore and learn more about the craft of preaching, each semester the Chaplains' Office offers a Preaching Internship program.
The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Meditation Program helps the campus and wider community develop resiliency and establish practices of mental wellbeing through regular secular meditation sessions and talks. Sessions and talks are appropriate for all levels of practice, whether you have an established practice, tried meditation in the past but found it didn't work well, or are completely new to meditation. Beginners welcome!

Special Events
There are numerous special annual events in Christ Chapel. Here are a few student favorites.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s beloved annual celebration of the Nativity. This inspiring event brings together the powerful voices of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Choir, Choir of Christ Chapel, and Lucia Singers, the vibrant energy of the Christ Chapel Ringers and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Symphony Orchestra, and the graceful artistry of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Dance Company. This campus tradition includes music, movement, and sacred story unite to spark joy and reflection. Tickets are free for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students.
