Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) explore the complexities of the living world on a molecular level. This interdisciplinary program is for students interested in the intersection of chemistry and biology, including biochemistry, bioinformatics, biophysics, genetics, cell biology, and pharmacology. One of the longest-standing biochemistry and molecular biology programs in the Midwest, students learn in lab-centered courses. These hands-on experiences develop independence and sophistication to create top-level experimental scientists. The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ program has prepared students to excel whether they're starting their career right after graduation or going on to medical school or graduate studies in competitive molecular biology and biochemistry programs in Minnesota, nationally, or around the world.
