The Department of Business and Economics at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ prepares the next generation of business and finance leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and scholars.

Coursework gives you the skills to identify, analyze, and solve industry and social problems from the C-Suite to the Capitol. The Department prioritizes real-world application of knowledge in and out of the classroom. Collaborate with organizations of all sizes, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, and connect with the vast Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ alumni network around the world. The program is built to jumpstart your professional career and expand your opportunities to lead a fulfilling life of leadership and service.

The Business and Economics Department's emphasis on real-world application extends learning beyond the classroom. You'll build strong relationships while collaborating and learning with your peers through student-led organizations such as the Investment Club, the Accounting Club, the Finance Club, and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Women in Leadership. You also can take advantage of off-campus learning opportunities that include everything from an internship in Seattle to studying in Hong Kong.

 

Entrepreneurship — The Gustie Cup and courses are specifically designed to help you develop entrepreneurial skills

Mentoring — Build valuable relationships with alumni professionals and gain a competitive edge in the job market

Student Clubs — Getting involved in student clubs is an excellent way to build relationships outside of the classroom and gain professional skills and knowledge related to your interests
