, Artist and Visiting Assistant Professor of Drawing and Printmaking at St. Olaf College, presents a collection of prints, installation work, and drawings rooted in an exploration of the sugar lift aquatint etching process. Tanaka is a Minnesota-based artist and educator working primarily in printmaking and drawing. Through quiet observation and appreciation of annual seasons and daily rituals, she creates an abstract visual language that speaks to the repetitive, cyclical nature of domestic life.
