Jay Hake, J.D.Faculty

Instructor of the Practice in Business and Economics

Jay Hake brings over a decade of executive leadership and legal experience to the Business and Economics department. Before joining the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ faculty, he served as a CEO, COO, and General Counsel for several high-growth companies in the technology and consumer goods sectors. In these roles, he specialized in converting innovative ideas into reality, scaling multiple businesses from the ground up, and leading teams through complex strategic challenges.

This firsthand experience in corporate strategy, operations, and law directly informs his teaching. Jay bridges theory and practice, equipping students with the real-world insights needed to navigate the dynamic landscape of modern business. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
