Do I need Health Insurance?
All Gustauvs students are required to have active health insurance. This can be a personal/private insurance plan or it can be the plan offered through Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. If you have your own health insurance, we recommend calling your health insurance company to see how you will be covered while at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
Is there a clinic on campus?
There is a clinic on the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ campus: /healthservice/. The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Health Service is open Monday through Friday from 8am - 4:30pm while school is in session. We are a full service clinic. Appointments are recommended.
Questions about waiving or enrolling in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Health Insurance?
- When does the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Health Insurance WAIVER open?
- Generally, the WAIVER opens in July.
- Do I have to complete the WAIVER every year if I have my own insurance?
- YES
- What happens if I do not WAIVE the insurance by the deadline?
- You will automatically be enrolled in the student health insurance and that charge will remain on your student account.
- Can I switch insurance plans at the end of the year?
- Once enrolled in the Student Health Insurance you remain enrolled until July 31st of that year.
