Mac Virtual Machines
There have been several products released for running virtual machines on the Macintosh. 鶹Ƶ offers VMware Horizon to all students and faculty.

VMWare Fusion 2
Create the virtual machine
- Open VMWare Fusion 2
- Select New
- Click Continue without disk
- Click Create a custom virtual machine
- Choose machine type and platform and continue
- Select Customize Settings
- Give the virtual machine a name and click Save
- Set CPU, Memory, etc. as desired under Processors & RAM
- Set Network to Connect directly to the physical network (Bridged)
Set up virtual machine to netboot
- Start the virtual machine
- Note the MAC Address and register it in GReg appropriately
Imaging
- Restart the Virtual Machine
- Image as a normal 鶹Ƶ Windows based machine
Post-imaging
- Allow the Windows virtual machine to post image
- Install VMWare Tools by going to the Virtual Machine menu and selecting Install VMWare Tools
