The Amazon Echo is a wireless speaker and voice controlled computer manufactured by Amazon.com.

Registering it on the �鶹��Ƶ Network

This device will not work on the �鶹��Ƶ Secure Network. You must connect to the �鶹��Ƶ network. To register your echo on the �鶹��Ƶ network, obtain the echo's MAC address by following the steps below. Once you have the mac address, please contact GTS at 507-933-6111 or helpline@gac.edu and provide us with the MAC address so that we can assist with registration.

Finding the MAC address

1. In the Alexa app, open the left navigation panel and then select Settings.

2. Select your device and then select Update Wi-Fi. OR If you're adding a new device to your account, select Set up a new device instead.

3. On your Echo device, press and hold the Action button until the light ring changes to orange. Your mobile device will then connect to your Echo device.

4. A list of available Wi-Fi networks appear in the app.

5. Select the �鶹��Ƶ Wi-Fi network. Scroll down on this screen until you see the mac address.
