The XBox 360 is a video game console developed and sold by Microsoft.

Connecting to the network

Please call the Technology Helpline to help you register this device as well as any other type of video game console on the 鶹Ƶ network. You will need to provide the MAC address of your XBox 360 when calling.

Finding your MAC address

Before we start, turn on the XBox 360 and navigate to the dashboard. If your 360 is not already set to start up to the dashboard, simply start up without a game in the disk tray.

  1. Go to the System area of the dashboard and select Network Settings 360MAC1.jpg

  3. Under Basic Settings, check to make sure your IP settings are set to "Automatic" 360MAC3.jpg
  4. Now go to Additional Settings and select Advanced Settings 360MAC4.jpg
  5. Find the Wired MAC Address in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.360MAC5.jpg

NXE Dashboard

You may also have an updated dashboard (the NXE dashboard). The following are instructions for the updated dashboard:

  1. Go to My Xbox in the Xbox Dashboard and select System Settings.
  2. Select Network Settings.
  3. Select Configure Network.
  4. From Additional Settings, select Advanced Settings. Your Wired MAC address will be listed at the bottom of this screen.

Contact the Technology Helpline with your MAC address so we can manually register you.
