Apple Mail
Editing An Existing Account
This is basic setup for accounts using Apple Mail for Mac OS 10.4 Tiger.
First, open up Mail. Then in the Mail menu go to Preferences. The shortcut to preferences in most programs on Mac OS X is Apple-comma. Once you are in the preferences page, click the accounts tab. Choose their 鶹Ƶ account. If you need to create a new account, please see the creating a new account section.
Account information should match this (with the name and username of whose computer you are working on in place of mine, of course).
In the Outgoing Mail Server menu, you should select the Add Server option.
This is how the outgoing mail server should be configured. Once you have completed, click OK then switch to the Advanced tab.
This is how the advanced tab should look exactly. Once you have finished this, you can close the preferences window. If you changed settings you will be prompted to save them. Click OK. The Mail client should be properly configured now!
