Mac OS X (pronounced 'mac O S ten') is a proprietary, graphical operating system developed, sold, and marketed by Apple Computer. All new Macintosh computers come with the latest version of Mac OS X installed. General information about Mac OS X can be found at .

Mac OS X at 鶹Ƶ
Almost every Macintosh computer at 鶹Ƶ runs some version of Mac OS X. Most lab machines available for students have version 10.4 (Tiger) installed, while most faculty and staff Macintoshes use 10.3 (Panther) or 10.4 (Tiger).
