New Academic Building Computer Replacement Timeline

Friday, April 22nd
Preliminary laptop preference survey is sent to Faculty that will be receiving new laptops to gauge interest in platform (OSX or Windows 7) choice for ordering purposes.
Wednesday, April 27th
Technology Services will be in the Faculty and Staff Lounge in the Campus Center at 10:30am - 4:30pm for Faculty to view their office computer options.
Thursday, April 28th
Technology Services will be in the Faculty and Staff Lounge in the Campus Center at 10:30am - 4:30pm for Faculty to view their office computer options.
Monday, May 2nd
Laptop preference survey deadline. Faculty and Staff are asked to make their intentions for their office computer known to GTS for ordering purposes. If more time is needed, be sure to let GTS know.
Tuesday, May 3rd
Personalized computer upgrade questionnaire will be sent out to the new building Faculty.
Monday, May 16th
Computer upgrades will start and continue through June 15th. Due to the recent events in Japan, shipping has been pushed back until the middle of the May.
May - September
Technology Services will offer one on one training sessions by appointment, as well as classes on backing up your computer, connecting to projectors wirelessly, and other items by request.
Summer
When Physical Plant moves office furniture, office belongings, etc, GTS will assist in setting up computer-related items.
