Dual Boot Instructions

  • Hold - N key down to boot off the Network.
    • If you are using a new aluminum keyboard the N-key may not work
    • Talk to Steve to make sure dual-boot imaging is turned on
    • Make sure computer is named properly in greg with "DM" in the name (dual - multimedia)
  • If above is correct restore will begin automatically
  • One the machine is restored it will display the option to click OK, Restart, etc
    • Click OK
  • Go to the Tools menu / Set Startup disk and set the disk to be "Untitled"
  • Go to Tools menu / Restart
    • Windows will finish deployment and restart several times
    • When Windows deployment is done you should see the desktop and it should be auto-logged in
  • Restart into the Mac OS by selecting the grey diamond in the task bar and choosing "Restart in Mac OS X"
    • The Mac will restart and you can login as admin
  • Run through the setup assistant and choose to enable dual-booting.
