A cascade is a process where one user gets a newer computer and the user's original computer is used to replace a lower-end system somewhere else on campus. Each system involved in the cascade is imaged and the older machine is always backed up. Technology Services cascades both Macintosh and Windows machines for 鶹Ƶ owned-machines only.
