Magic Ports are ports that will allow machines to get valid IP addresses even when they are not registered with GReg. Address range is 138.236.1. See Ethan Sommer if you have additional questions or concerns regarding these ports.
For Summer 2006, the ports are located in the set up room - through the switch on the shelf and some ports in the Olin Technology Center.
