Microsoft OneNote is a note-taking program that is especially useful for tablet-style laptops. It is available as part of the Microsoft Office Suite. OneNote was first released with Office 2003 and is updated in Office 2007. It is not available for Macintosh version of Microsoft Office.
It may be easier to take notes using OneNote rather than Microsoft Word due to the more free-form style of OneNote. OneNote also organizes your notes into separate "journals" making it easy to keep track of notes from different events, classes, etc.
