DISH Network Receivers are the machines that tunes in the international television channels received through the satellite provider DISH Network, for use by the Culpeper Language Center and related departments. The Culpeper Center is home to 4 DISH Network receivers, each with their own express purpose:
- #1 is housed in the Media development station and is connected to the first ReplayTV, for use by the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures only.
- #2 is housed in the Media development station and is connected to the second ReplayTV, for use by the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures only.
- #3 is housed in the Media development station and is for use by the Japanese section of the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures only, and should always be tuned to channel 675 - TV Japan.
- #4 is housed in the International television and DVD viewing station and is available for use by students.
