About
This is the printer model that is used in all of the residence halls that students can use without a cost to them.
How to configure the residence hall printer on your personal computer
---NT/2000/XP---
Open the Printers Control Panel: Start > Settings >Printers and double-click on Add Printer.
This will launch the Add Printer Wizard. When asked how the printer is attached to your computer, check Local printer, but uncheck Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer.
You will see a window like the figure below, asking you to select a printer port.
Check Create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port in the Type field.
Hitting Next will launch the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard. This wizard will ask for the Printer Name or IP Address and the Port Name.

The drivers can be found in the 鶹Ƶ Windows Downloads, if you don't have them already. Do not share this printer.
