Windows Vista is an operating system made by Microsoft Corporation. Because Windows Vista poses more security risks than other operating systems, such as Mac OS X or Linux, Technology Services requires Windows machines connected to the 鶹Ƶ network to meet the following basic requirements:
- Your computer must have the most recent Windows updates.
- Your computer must have Symantec Anti-Virus installed and have updated virus definitions. Make sure that you install the Symantec AntiVirus for Vista, other versions will not work.
