Please call the Technology Helpline at 507-933-6111, e-mail at helpline@gustavus.edu or stop by the First Floor of Olin Hall. The Technology Helpline is only allowed to offer limited support to non-college owned equipment.

Limited Support Guidelines

  • Restart Computer
  • Check Device Manager
  • Make sure wireless card is enabled and working
  • Check hardware
  • Verify wireless turned on
  • Check for static IP
  • TCP/IP Properties Configuration
  • Check IP that machine is obtaining
  • Wireless Management Utility
  • Make sure Networks show up
  • Try joining other networks

Devices That Will Work on Our Network

  • Macintosh Computers
  • Windows Computers
  • iOS Devices (iPhones, iPod Touches, iPads)
  • Android Devices
  • Many other devices such as Kindles, Nooks, etc.
