Eudora Mail

Eudora is an e-mail client for Macintosh and Windows. The program is named for Eudora Weltey, an author who wrote a book called "Why I Live at the PO". The email client was originally developed in 1988 by Steve Dorner, and has been owned by Qualcomm since 1991.

In 2006 Qualcomm stopped development on Eudora and moved it to open source, using Mozilla Thunderbird's code base. At this time, �鶹��Ƶ dropped ended for Eudora.

At �鶹��Ƶ

Historically (before 2006), Eudora was the e-mail client of choice at �鶹��Ƶ. When Qualcomm dropped development of the product, �鶹��Ƶ users were required to move to a supported application such as Mozilla Thunderbird, WebMail or Apple Mail for their email.

The open source Eudora is no longer being developed, therefore �鶹��Ƶ no longer supports Eudora. Please see Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail or WebMail pages for help with e-mail clients.

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to send or receive, you may not have a trusted certificate.

To trust the new certificate:

1. Tools
2. Options
3. Sending Mail
4. Last SSL Info
5. Certificate Information Manager
6. Choose US, Saint Peter, �鶹��Ƶ and click Add to trusted. This may have a skull and crossbones icon next to it.
7. Click Done
8. Click ok to exit out of the settings.
