Dreamweaver is a web development application acquired by Adobe in 2005 from Macromedia.It is available for both Macintosh and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Dreamweaver CS5.5 is accessible in the Digital Arts Lab located in Beck Hall room 112.
Creating a Website
- Open Dreamweaver (Located as an icon in the dock or in the applications folder)
- Go to Site > Manage Sites
- Click on New
- Under Site Name create a file name
- Under Local Site Folder click folder icon and select where you'd like the folders to be saved. (Note: Be careful where you save files due to the possibility of being erased.)
- Go to Servers
- Servers > Click plus icon
- Fill in Server Name
- Connect using SFTP
- Fill in FTP Address(If using 鶹Ƶ use ftp.gac.edu)
- Fill in Username and Password (鶹Ƶ username and password)
- Click Test
- Click Save
- Click Save
