Windows 7 is the recent release of the Microsoft Windows operating system. It was released October 22, 2009 and is the successor to Windows Vista.

Because Windows 7 poses more security risks than other operating systems, such as Mac OS X or Linux, Technology Services requires Windows machines connected to the 鶹Ƶ network to meet the following basic requirements:

  2. Your computer must have Symantec_Endpoint_Protection installed and have updated virus definitions.
