An Ethernet cord or Ethernet cable is a cable that is used to connect a computer to a network and resembles a phone cord.
Where to get one
Returning Students: Please stop by the Technology Services office in Olin to pick one up, free of charge. If you need one longer than 25 feet, you will need to buy one at any computer retail store.
First year Students: If you are going to be a first year Gustie in the fall, two will be placed in your dorm room prior to your arrival, one for you, and one for your roommate.
Length
A length of 25 feet should be adequate for most students and situations.
