Joining the Association

We invite all congregations of the ELCA to join the Association of Congregations. Membership may be established by:

  • Decision of the Pastor
  • Vote of the congregation
  • Vote of the Church Council

To join the Association simply email the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Office of Church Relations or call 507-933-7001.

There truly are no disadvantages to membership, yet typically congregations have two questions about joining:

  1. What does it cost? There are no financial commitments for membership in the GACAC. Some resources have a nominal cost, but most are free!
  2. What about our relationship with other colleges? Participation in the Association does not limit your congregation’s relationship with other colleges. In fact we encourage you to support our 28 other
