Winter Break Trash 2 Treasure Move-Out Donation ProgramÌýthrough the Johnson Center for Environmental Innovation and Facilities!
When: December 12 through Winter break
Who:ÌýOpen to all students living in on-campus residential halls.
Why:ÌýTo collect and redistribute gently used items that might otherwise be thrown into dumpsters headed for a landfill. Last year, we diverted over 5000 lbs.Ìýfrom the landfill.Ìý These items will be available to the campus community at a mini Gustie Garage Sale in January!
What:ÌýCheck out theÌýÌýand plan ahead to drop your items off at the nearest collection station. Please try to redistribute large couches or other bulky furniture to underclassmen before donating as we have limited storage space.
Where: collection stations forÌýdonations of gently used itemsÌýat the following locations:
- College View:ÌýLarge multi-use room
- Norelius:ÌýLounge
- Complex:ÌýBasement of North
- Pittman:ÌýBasement
- Sohre:ÌýBasement
- Southwest:ÌýKitchen/lounge area
- Uhler:ÌýBasement
PleaseÌýKEEP AREAS TIDY when dropping off/sorting through items!ÌýResidents in other on-campus housing may bring items to these collection stations. Students are alsoÌýwelcome to take any items they will use from the donation stations at any time during Finals Week.Ìý
