Trash 2 Treasure Move Out Donation ProgramÌýthrough the Sustainability Interns from the Johnson Center for Environmental Innovation, and Facilities!

• When: April 28-May 5
• Who:ÌýOpen to all students living in on-campus residential halls.
• Why:ÌýTo collect and redistribute gently used items that might otherwise be thrown into dumpsters headed for a landfill. So far this program has diverted over 15,000 lbs. from the landfill! These items will be available at the Gustie Garage Sale in the fall.
• What:ÌýCheck out theÌýÌýand plan ahead to drop your items off at the nearest collection station. Please try to redistribute large couches or other bulky furniture to underclassmen before donating as we have limited storage space.
• Where:ÌýThis year there will be collection stations forÌýdonations of gently used itemsÌýat the following locations:
  • College View: Large multi-use room
  • Norelius: East entrance lounge
  • Plex: Basement of North
  • Sohre: Basement
  • Pittman: Basement
  • Southwest: Kitchen/lounge area
  • Uhler: Basement
  • NEW THIS YEAR: UHAULS at Arbor View and Chapel ViewÌýparking lots! Please organize items carefully in the uhauls, don't just throw stuff in. These items are being directly donated to , a non-profit assiting community members emerging from homelessness.
  Residents in other on-campus housing may bring items to these collection stations. Students are alsoÌýwelcome to take any itemsÌýthey will use from the donation stations at any time during Finals Week.
