Author Arvonne Fraser will be the presenter for the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Library Associates' Spring Author Day 2008, on Wednesday, May 14. "'She's No Lady' is the spirited memoir of a Minnesota farm girl who became founding mother of the worldwide women's movement. Fraser recounts her Depression-era upbringing, the early days of the DFL Party and her career in government and in the non-profit sector." The schedule for the day is as follows: 9:45 a.m. registration, 10:15 a.m. brunch, 10:45 a.m. speaker, and at 11:45 a.m. a book signing. The cost is $20 and RSVP must be received by May 9.
