Sarah Ghazal Ali is a Pakistani American writer. She is the author of the poetry collectionÌýTheophaniesÌý(Alice James Books, 2024), winner of the GLCA New Writers Award and a finalist for the Kate Tufts Discovery Award and Minnesota Book Award.ÌýShe has been awardedÌýThe Sewanee ReviewÌýPoetry Prize, and her poems have been published in journals and outlets such asÌýThe American Poetry Review, The Kenyon Review,ÌýandÌýthe Academy of American Poets' Poem-a-Day series.ÌýA Stadler and Kundiman Fellow, Sarah is the poetry editor forÌýWest BranchÌýand an Assistant Professor of English at Macalester College. She lives and teaches in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
