Announcement: Letters for Promotion Candidates Sought
The following members of the faculty are currently being considered for promotion to full professor:
- Margaret Bloch Qazi, Biology
- Ursula Lindqvist, Scandinavian Studies
Letters written on behalf of these candidates should address theÌýcriteria for promotionÌýas stated in theÌýFaculty Manual. The Kendall Center has provided a useful document withÌýstrategies for reducing implicit bias in recommendation letters; this will be a helpful reference in crafting letters on behalf of promotion candidates.
Letters are dueÌýMonday, February 15, 2021, at 4:00 p.m.ÌýAll members of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community are invited to submit letters. Candidates will have access to their letters.
Please note: Letters should be addressed to Provost Brenda Kelly, but should be emailed directly to her assistant, Shanon Nowell (snowell@gustavus.edu). Acknowledgment will be sent upon receipt.
