Announcement: Letters for Promotion Candidates – Due Monday, February 2
The following members of the faculty are currently being considered for promotion to full professor:
- Laura Burrack, Biology
- Brenda Kelly, Chemistry-Biology*
- Heidi Meyer, Nursing
- Louis Yu, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics
Letters written on behalf of these candidates should address the as stated in the Faculty Manual. The Kendall Center has provided a useful document with; this will be a helpful reference in crafting letters on behalf of promotion candidates.
Letters are due Monday, February 2, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. All members of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community are invited to submit letters. Candidates will have access to their letters.
Please note: Letters should be addressed to Provost Brenda Kelly, but should be emailed directly to her assistant, Shanon Nowell (snowell@gustavus.edu). Acknowledgment will be sent upon receipt.
