Finland's renowned concert organist Kalevi Kiviniemi and cantor Jukka Pietil?? include a concert appearance in Christ Chapel at Â鶹ÊÓƵ as part of their 2015 North American tour. With the support of the Finlandia Foundation of Minnesota, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Artist Series is pleased to bring this acclaimed organist and cantor to Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Internationally-recognized as one of the finest organists in the world today, concert organist Kalevi Kiviniemi is one of Finland's most active musicians and one of its most honored. Jukka Pietil??, a graduate of the Sibelius Academy, is the lead cantor/soloist at the Cathedral in Turku, Finland " the "Mother Church eand birthplace of Christianity in Finland " and also the heart of the Swedish speaking population in Finland. Tickets for this Â鶹ÊÓƵ Artist Series event are $12 for adults, $9 for senior citizens, students and Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty & staff. Â鶹ÊÓƵ students are admitted free of charge with a student ID.
