Friday, March 2, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Jazz Department hosts the inaugural Â鶹ÊÓƵ Jazz Jamboree featuring five to six outstanding high school jazz bands, the two Â鶹ÊÓƵ large jazz ensembles. The evening showcase concert at 7:30 p.m. in Bjorling Recital Hall features the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Jazz Ensemble with special guest pianist, Reggie Thomas (The Legendary Count Basie Orchestra/Jazz @ Lincoln Center), as well as the Twin Cities acclaimed Adam Meckler Orchestra. The event is free and open to the public.
