Â鶹ÊÓƵ Groundswell Day: A Climate Action Initiative is an all-day, campus-wide event to showcase the commitment of Â鶹ÊÓƵ students to climate action! Through a day of different activities including: a climate justice march, phone banking, and the creation of a sustainability pledge mural (to be hung in the Nobel Hall expansion), the Groundswell will contribute to the promotion and prioritization of climate initiatives at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Join us by partaking in any or all of the great events throughout the day!

Schedule of Events:

9:55 am - 10:15 am | Climate Action March | Christ Chapel

*Listen to climate-themed musical performances then participate in a campus march for climate action

10:15 am - 1:30 pm | Take the Pledge | Campus Center, Outside Caf

*Paint your handprint on a mural to pledge toward climate action

11:30 am - 1:30 pm | Photo Campaign | Campus Center, Outside Caf

*Express why you care about the environment in a photo campaign

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm | Five Minute Phone Bank | Gustie Den

*Give your government representatives a call in our 5-minute phone bank

1:00 pm - 3:30 pm | Send a Sunflower Message to Pres. Bergman | Courtyard Cafe

*Write President Becky Bergman a climate-oriented message on a sunflower

7:30 pm - 9:30 pm | Chasing Ice & a PIXAR film | Courtyard Cafe

*Come watch a short climate change documentary 'Chasing Ice', followed by a Pixar film, and enjoy a trail mix bar!
