Trumpeter Charles Lazarus and his jazz band perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 14 in Bjorling Recital Hall as part of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Artist Series. Lazarus, a highly sought-after soloist and trumpet player in the Minnesota Orchestra, will present a program featuring fresh takes on classic loves songs from his latest album, Lovejoy.

The mission of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Artist Series is to broaden Â鶹ÊÓƵ student exposure to significant artistic scholarship and world-class performers and artists.

Tickets are on sale now and cost $12 for the general public, $9 for seniors/students, and $9 for Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty/staff. Â鶹ÊÓƵ students receive one free ticket. They can be ordered at gustavustickets.com.
