Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will be hosting a gathering in memory of Bill Holm. Bill was a 1965 alumnus of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and the author or editor of 16 books of poems and essays; he passed away Wednesday, February 25 at a hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. His works include Windows of Brimnes - An American in Iceland, Playing the Black Piano, The Heart Can Be Filled Anywhere on Earth, The Dead Get By with Anything, Coming Home Crazy: An Alphabet of China Essays, and Boxelder Bug Variations: A Meditation on an Idea in Language and Music. He was a frequent visitor to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and to St. Peterand received an honorary doctorate from the college.Please join us for an evening of readings and music in Bill's honor, and for an opportunity to speak about your own connection with him and his work.
