*You are invited to attend various classes throughout the day and experience firsthand the academic programs offered by Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Check the Family Weekend Web site by for a list of open classes, pick up a list when you check-in, or request attendance in a specific class by having your student make arrangements in advance with the professor.
8 p.m.--Movie: Scooby Doo in Wallenberg Auditorium, Nobel Hall
*Come watch this "fun for all ages" hit movie before it hits the video stores. This event is free for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students and their families.

*Talk with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ faculty and staff about your student's academic development, including questions related to the First Year Experience program. Refreshments will be served starting at 9:15 a.m.
11 a.m.--Parent Session II "Student Life," Jackson Campus Center Banquet Room
*Talk with members of the Division of Student Affairs about your child's development during this time of growth and about the College's relationship with you as a parent.
11 a.m.--Women's Soccer vs St. Olaf at Lund Center
1 - 3 p.m.--Diversity Center Open House in Jackson Campus Center
*Stop by for some snacks and learn how the Diversity Center serves your student and the College.

*Advanced tickets are needed for this limited-seating event. Cost is $10 for adults and students, $5.50 for children 10 and under. Dress casual and serving begins promptly at 5:30.
6:30 - 7 p.m.--State of the College Address in Evelyn Young Dining Room
*President and Mrs. Johnson will formally welcome you to campus. Find out the latest happenings and current state of affairs at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. You do NOT need to attend the banquet to attend the address.
8 p.m.--Arianna String Quartet in Björling Recital Hall
*One of America's finest chamber ensembles makes its debut at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ during its tenth anniversary season. Advance tickets: $10 adults; $7 students, seniors and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ faculty/staff; $4 GA students.

*This ensemble of talented improvisers and actors promises clean, inclusive material and audience participation to get you laughing.

** (Consider attending the 9 a.m. service which traditionally has been less crowded.)
10 a.m. - 1 p.m.--Family Weekend Brunch in the Evelyn Young Dining Room
*Enjoy the music of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Jazz Ensemble and the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Jazz Lab Band. Advance reservation requested. Advanced tickets are not necessary; you will pay cash for your meal selections.
