Friday, Oct. 5
8:00 am - 4:30 pm Check-in at the Information Desk, Campus Center
*Pick up your event tickets, nametag, and any schedule updates for the weekend and get all of your questions answered. Please don't forget this important step!
8:00 am - 4:30 pm Class Visits in various locations
*You are invited to attend various classes throughout the day and experience first-hand the academic programs offered by Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. You may watch the Family Weekend Website for a list of open classes, pick up a list when you check-in, or you may request attendance in a specific class by asking your student to make advanced arrangements with the professor.
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Open Gym and Swim in Lund Center
*The whole family is invited to warm up, cool off, or just take a break! Please sign in at the Red Desk on the 1st level to be directed to appropriate locker rooms and/or facilities.
8:00 pm Movie: "Shrek" in Wallenberg Auditorium
*See this movie for the last time on the big screen prior to its video/DVD release. Free for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students and their families.
Saturday, Oct. 6

*Get a family portrait taken with Gus, the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ mascot, and take home a photo button as a free souvenir of your weekend!
9:00 am - noon Daffodil Planting in Linnaeus Arboretum
*Come help beautify the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ campus by planting 10,000 daffodils at the Linnaeus Arboretum. Daffodils are available for purchase and we provide the planting tools!
10:00 am - noon Discover Linnaeus Arboretum at the Interpretive Center/Arboretum
*Arboretum interpreters, including campus naturalist Jim Gilbert, will welcome you at five sites--walk around the new wetlands preserve, hear the storytellers at the Borgeson Cabin, plant a daffodil or twenty, take in the view from the Prairie Overlook, and enjoy refreshments at the Interpretive Center.

*Find out more about your child's academic and personal development during this time of transition and about the College's relationship with you as a parent.

*Find out first hand the latest happenings and current state of affairs at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. You do not need to attend the banquet to attend the address.
7:30 pm "Colcannon" Concert in Bjorling Recital Hall
*Come enjoy this Irish Celtic Folk quintet. Advanced tickets are necessary. $8 adults, $6 students, $4 with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ ID.

*A hilarious program full of playful characters and audience involvement sure to please the whole family.

*Take an informative walking tour of campus highlighting the work of Sculptor-In-Residence Paul Granlund which adorns the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ grounds.
