Books in Bloom, a new friend-raising initiative of Â鶹ÊÓƵ Library Associates, will open on Honors Weekend, May 4-6, at the Folke Bernadotte Memorial Library on the campus of Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

Modeled after Art in Bloom, the annual spring event celebrated by the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Books in Bloom will highlight 20-30 books, media, technology, and other resource materials within the library with specially-designed floral arrangements.

The floral arrangements, called "blooms, ewill be on display at the library beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 6. The event is open to the public at no charge. A map of the Ëœbloom esites will be available for private viewing throughout the weekend.
