With support from the Rupert Anderson Award in Systematics, Josh Hammer and Carl Stenoien are making improvements and cataloging the contents of 鶹Ƶ' marine and freshwater fish collection. Of all diversity in the collection, an estimated 60% is shown here. Much of the contents of the original collection were destroyed in the tornado of 1998, but enough jars survived and have been added to make this project possible.

Several families of fish are represented in the collection and are listed in alphabetical order by family below. Within each family the individual specimens are sorted alphabetically by genus and species. All collection data, if available, is posted as well. Specimens are shown with on a cm scale. Also, each specimen has a link to a corresponding page in Fishbase, the most comprehensive fish database in the world.

We are continually updating this page, so come back soon to see what else has been cataloged!
