DESCRIPTION:Advising Day provides all students the opportunity each semeste
 r to learn about and take action on their academic\, professional\, and voc
 ational goals. All class sessions between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. are cance
 led so that students can attend the various programming and events to learn
  about majors and minors\, study away\, internships\, and career opportunit
 ies. Students can also meet with their academic advisor and connect with th
 eir peers through social and educational activities planned by departments 
 and programs. Faculty and staff work throughout the day to help students na
 vigate any advising-related topic under the sun such as making a four-year 
 plan\, declaring a major\, finding a Signature Experience\, resolving regis
 tration holds\, applying for jobs or graduate school\, and much more.
