Pre-Pharmacy
Pre-professional

Pre-Seminary
Pre-professional

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ has a long history of preparing pastors, chaplains, and other Christian clergy and church leaders. You'll major in Religion, Psychology, English, and/or Philosophy on your way to seminary school and/or graduate theology education. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's chaplains and academic advisors will assist you in choosing coursework, plugging into student groups, and serving in campus leadership positions.

Pre-Veterinary Medicine
Pre-professional

In this pre-professional program, you'll receive a strong science foundation in the core classes needed for grad school, plus the freedom to explore a range of elective courses. You'll major in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and be supported by the Office of Health Professions from your first thoughts on becoming a veterinarian through grad school application.

Psychological Science is foundational to tackling society’s big questions and challenges, from prejudice and bias to multi-sensory perception and memory. As a Psychological Science major, you will be immersed in experiential learning courses that put science and research into practice. You will learn to test and interrogate psychological research questions, lead experiments, collect and analyze data, and present their findings.

 

 

The Public Accounting major is designed for students to directly enter the workforce in private companies, non-profits, and government offices. You will learn essential technical accounting skills from a faculty of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) with decades of top industry experience. This program is a Top 20 program in the U.S. for CPA exam success, and the only Minnesota liberal arts college in the top 40. (CPA Success Index).

 

 

Public Health
Major Minor

Public Health teaches you the concepts and principles related to the American public health system. Through active engagement in courses, you will complete opportunities and case studies in health behavior, community assessment, epidemiology, and program development related to a broad array of community issues, public health services, and populations.

 

 

Religion
Major Minor

Religion majors/minors explore life's biggest questions through classroom experiences that foster dialogue between faiths with compassion and respect. You will study theology, major religions, and their relationship with ethics, politics, art, music, literature, and more. In this minor, you'll develop skills to negotiate the challenges of religious diversity in the workplace and the world at large. You'll strengthen your interfaith literacy and reflect on your own worldview and values. Religious diversity intersects with other forms of diversity, so this minor serves a range of fields and professions.

Russian
Minor

As a minor in Russian Language, Literature, and Culture you will explore the language, rich cultural heritage, literature, and history of Russophone lands through the Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures Department (MLLC). Given Russia's strategic geopolitical importance, understanding the language and culture provides valuable insights.

 

 

Scandinavian Studies majors/minors journey to the Arctic Circle (particularly in Sweden), connect over "fika" (coffee and treats) at the Swedish House, and get to know award-winning artists and scholars from Scandinavia.
